Dan Byrne Series Race No. 1 COURSE: From the starting line located approx. 1.0 NM at 164 o M from the south end of the MdR detached breakwater, leave El Segundo buoy "ES2" to port, leave Palo Verde buoy "R10" to port, finish when the light atop Ship Rock bears 70 o M from the helmsman's position. The skipper shall take his own finish time. Handicap distance 29 NM. All marks are passing marks except Ship Rock. SKIPPER'S MEETING: A mandatory Skipper's meeting will be held on Thursday 24 January at 1900 hours at Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club. Any skipper not attending this meeting must receive permission to compete from the Principal Race Officer.
